The five-yearly refresher course for workers is a
training requirement established by Article 37 of Legislative Decree 81/08 and governed
by the State-Regions Agreement of April 17, 2025. It is aimed at all
workers who have already completed the initial training (General
and Specific) and who, five years later, need to update themselves on
legislative changes, developments in case law, and new
risk management methods that have characterized the last
five years.
The course takes you on a six-hour journey that reviews and
refreshes the fundamental topics of workplace safety. You will address
the most recent legislative changes, new provisions on emerging
risks such as work-related stress and the impact of smart working,
updates on personal protective equipment and
emergency procedures. Each topic is covered with concrete examples,
real cases, and references to the most relevant case law, so that
at the end, you not only have a valid certificate, but also a
current and operational understanding of how safety is
changing in your workplace.
The training experience is entirely accessible online through
slides narrated by professional audio, in-depth chapters with
controlled reading times, interactive case studies that present you
with real-world decisions with immediate feedback, and intermediate
test quizzes that allow you to gradually consolidate what
you've learned. Everything is designed to be completed at your own pace, with
the ability to stop and resume whenever you like. The
system automatically tracks your progress and guarantees the
training validity of the time spent.
Upon passing the final quiz with a score of 70% or higher, you will receive a certificate compliant with Italian regulations, valid
throughout the country for five years from the date of
issuance. The update fully covers the training requirement
for all risk levels in the ATECO sector you belong to,
in line with the recent standardization established by the State-Regions Agreement 2025, which set the duration at six hours for all types of
workers. Upon completion, you will be compliant for the next five
years, and your company will be able to present documentary evidence of your updated training to inspection authorities.
